The Institutional Advancement Department at Mount St. Mary’s College is always looking for volunteers to support our special events. From working the registration table to helping set up, the opportunities to support our team as a volunteer are endless.
Ages 18 and up are welcome. Weekday, weekend, and evening opportunities are available. To volunteer, click on the event of interest and contact the event coordinator.

Orientation/Culmination Volunteers

The various degree programs and Weekend College have orientation and culmination events to welcome their new incoming students and to celebrate with their graduation students. Orientations and culminations take place at different times of the year and on different days of the week. This volunteer opportunity is a one-time commitment and takes only an hour or two. DOHENY MANSION DOCENT

Special training sessions will give you the knowledge, skills and confidence necessary to be a successful docent. You will learn about:

¨ the fascinating story of Edward Doheny and the Doheny Family
¨ the Victorian Mansions on Chester Place and the surrounding neighborhood
¨ in-depth detail about the interior of the Doheny Mansion, #8 Chester Place
¨ and much more

Trained docents are expected to lead public and private tours of Chester Place. For more information, contact 213/477-2962.
