| Help Us Go Green
We are trying to be environmentally responsible. Make sure you stay connected– keep your email current. We have approximately 5,000 emails, which is only a third of our alum total. We want 100%. Please make sure we have your current email address – the one that you check regularly. We notify you about many things via email: upcoming events, employment opportunities, volunteer opportunities, time-sensitive news about classmates, former faculty, department news, etc. Calling All Nurses- What Are you Currently Doing?
MSMC’s nursing program has always been held in great esteem throughout the country. We point with great pride to our nursing alums. The Mount receives significant funding for its nursing department from many philanthropic foundations.
Some of the main questions foundations ask when deciding whether or not to support the Mount have to do with outcomes. Please share with us your current employment. Just contact Alumnae Relations at 213.477.2767 or at alums@msmc.la.edu Thank you for your participation.
The Beauty of Provence – Alumnae Travel Program

The time frame for this trip is October 12-20, 2010 and it is approximately $4,279 per person, based on double occupancy, including airfare and value-added tax. (If booked by 5/2/10 you can take advantage of the alumni savings of $250).
Alum Emergency Book Fund
The Alum Book Fund was recently established in response to students growing need for assistance with the rising cost of textbooks. Sometimes students find themselves in financial difficulty after having arranged for tuition payments and other expenses. A grant from the Alum Emergency Book Fund can make all the difference to them. Any gift you make to this fund will be greatly appreciated. Not only will you be helping the students right now, but you will be sending a message to them that the Alumnae Association cares about them. This is all a part of the Mount’s mission to give back. Our hope is that when the students become alums themselves, they will remember the helping hand we gave them and wish to do the same for the students who come after them.
